Jay Schmidt sold our house in a month and we could not be happier with the experience. The brokers open house produced multiple offers and we accepted one that exceeded our asking price. Jay kept us well informed through out the entire process and always quickly responded to our calls, which were few because he seemed to anticipate our every need. Jay really knows the market and is a true professional. The members of his team are also great, especially Lindsey who did an amazing job of staging our house and Charlie who took beautiful pictures.

My wife and I chose the Jay Schmidt group over several other agencies that we met with to sell our home.  We were relocating and needed to move our home fast, and they presented the best plan to help us do just that.  Having a whole team of people looking at our sale from every angle provided us the best option.

The pricing of our home was just right, we received an offer for asking price on the first day of listing.  The pre-marketing and professional photography set us up for success before the home was even officially listed.

My family moved out of Milwaukee about 20 days prior to closing, and Lindsey kept us informed of all the happenings after we left.  They helped us through some home inspection issues and kept us in a position to still sell our home before we closed on our new one.

Overall our experience was great and I would recommend Jay and his team to anyone selling or buying in Milwaukee.

Over the years, we have had several experiences with both buying and selling homes. Our last couple were negative. My daughter-in-law recommended Jay. Upon meeting him - listening to him (he was prepared!) - and believing him, we signed.

We were selling a home in a desirable area of Wauwatosa and thought that we could do it without a realtor. We put our house up FSBO and got little interest. We then went with a low commission realtor and had only 2 showings in 3 months. Then we listed with Jay and we had 29 showings in 6 weeks (!) and accepted an offer that was higher than we'd expected.

Jay gave us advice on things we should update on the house (and had recommendations of who to work with for projects we couldn't do ourselves) and they professionally staged our house as a part of their included service. I have recommended Jay to anyone and everyone who may be at all interested in buying or selling.

As you are aware, we had our house on the market for three years with four different realtors.  The house had many “interested parties” but no offers and the realtors kept suggesting we lower the price which we did a number of times.  The last realtor we had said “Jay Schmidt showed your house and he gets it”.  So our relationship began.  I called you and you and Janine came over.  Positive, professional, creative and giving.  Those words come to mind after our first meeting.  Your idea was simply to give the house a fresh look.  We painted and you staged the house.  At your suggestion we raised the price on the listing with you.  Well, due to you and your team we received an offer day 1!  We had been told by a realtor that our house should sell itself and the realtor does not sell the house- NOT TRUE
